Yes - it's a co-op bldg - awesome location - prime UWS. I think what might be hurting this building though is the 25% down payment requirement to buy. I had looked into it some time ago.

cheers,

I believe the building is dominated by 1BR's which tend to turn over faster than larger, family sized apts. My recolection is that there are something like 12-18 apts /floor...and the building has about 25 floors, so there is likely to be many listings at any one time. The mntc is on the higher end as well.

We love the building and our apartment but need a bigger place. We are planning to sell our place (130 West 67 Street) - 1 bedroom, 12th floor. Please let me know if interested. Thanks,

Originally built as student housing for julliard students, funding dried. Hoffmans bought for pennies and did rental and converted to co-ops. Weird how they have the little soldiers toys in their offices on 55th. Now two brothers run the show. Nice guys just weird with the model toys.

Lived there for a yr on the 21st facing south. Nice building, great staff although unless you plan on redoing the kitchen (if it wasn't already done) and to remove the popcorn ceiling treatment, not really worth the money. Good luck in your search.
