Discussion about 60 Clarkson Avenue in Flatbush
Quick question. 60 Clarkson avenue used to be a shelter. Now that is not, there are many homeless people still residing in it. Is there any info on when homeless people will move out of the building?
This building is a shithole and the landlord is a crook. Everyone on the block and in the neighborhood knows this. Just google the building. The most recent murder took place there over the summer and there are still ambulances and police at this building frequently. I walk by and see the "renovations" going on...LOL. You'd be a fool to move in there while it is still owned by Barry Hers or one of his shell corporations. The problem is not necessarily the homeless people, it's the fact that this evil man has no respect for those who live there or the community at large.. He has taken advantage of government subsidies and kept low income people in distressing and difficult circumstances, living in sub-standard conditions with no concern for safety or ethics.

So grateful for this comment thread. I googled more information about this building and the landlord and it has an atrocious history. Would not have started looking without the tips from previous posters.
