Discussion about
My neighbor recently drilled into the coops gas line and now the entire thing has to be replaced. This leaves me without access to my stove for months. Has this happened to anyone before? What expenses can I be compensated for? It will be a considerable expense to eat out/order food for the next few months. Should I draw from my buildings insurance or the neighbors insurance?

You may find the biggest issue is that if ConEd requires a pressure test before they will turn the gas back on a lot of older buildings can not pas one.

Get an induction cooker. Our building had one line with some issue and it took more than a year to get gas back.

Wow - this sounds like an insurance claim for sure!

The entire building has the same issue you do right? The building's line got cut you said? If that's the case, the building would have insurance and will take care of it. May be a case to fine your neighbor for negligence too....

Sorry to hear
