Discussion about
My Coop has no pets allowed rule. One sentence - Pets are not allowed. BUT, does this typically include fish? I don't want to ask them because as they say it's easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission, but also I don't want to spend a lot of money on a tank etc and get in trouble

It's not a tank of pets, it's a "dynamic artwork", or an "aquatic terrarium".

can't see it being a problem unless the tank is so big the filter sounds like a hot tub?...are we talking your run of the mill reef fish(Nemo) or something they reel in off Montauk?

Unless your fish are of the amphibious variety and you plan to let them wander about you should probably be fine ;-)

Check whether aquarium is permitted by coop. Most coops do not allow more than a certain size due to water leak issue. If you getting a small fish bowl, I do not think any one will have an issue. If you getting 100 gallon tank, I am sure some one will have an issue.

Agree with 300_mercer here! If you are hoping to recreate Seaworld, your co-op may have an issue with it =P
