Looking for feedback on a Roomba

Yeah I know, a bit of a silly and random question. We have two cats and a miniature long-haired dachshund, so hair balls everywhere! Was thinking of getting a Dyson rechargeable 'broom' for the ease of use for those quick runs around the house. Love our Dyson vacuum cleaner, just a bit much to be taking out everyday. My wife is really pushing for the Roomba, her friend loves hers. After watching a few YouTube videos seems a bit loud and a bit slow, and I work from home and my wife is a stay-at-home mom. Anyway just looking for some comments from people that actually own them. (then we can get back to more important things like arguing about the state of the market (; Thanks! Keith
