I am a resident of Chelsea Gardens, and I am writing to warn buyers from this building. I regret our purchase daily. This building is poorly run and mismanaged. The staff never respond to issues, and the Board is complacent at best. Any and all problems that occur will never be resolved. At every annual meeting, residents BEG the Board to enact change and nothing happens.
There are always questions about why the building is so poorly management--residents beseech the Board to enact professional protocols, but unless you seem to be one of the Board members or a crony, don't count on getting anything fixed or resolved. The public hallways are dirty, and the lobby often smells like feces.

Sorry to hear that you are unhappy at Chelsea Gardens, which is one of my favorite co-ops downtown. Your experience has not been the experience of clients that I have placed in the building.
