Discussion about One Lincoln Plaza at 20 West 64th Street in Lincoln Square
Does anyone have current information about the next stages and completion of the massive exterior renovation project and when the various stages will be completed and when the constant drilling, dust, scaffolding and noise will stop? Does anyone have current information about the next stages and completion of the massive exterior renovation project and when the various stages will be completed and when the constant drilling, dust, scaffolding and noise will stop? My understanding is that it's a 3 year project and we're 1 year in; broadway facing wall is close to complete and the project and major scaffolding, loud drilling noise and dust clouds will now move to the east (park) facing side over the next year. I want to know for health reasons and because it creates so much dust and noise 6 days a week. Over the first six months of the project it seemed that the building was communicating updates to tenants but that now they have abruptly stopped which is a very bad sign. I think this will be of important interest to any new tenants or buyers where the building and real estate brokers may not be telling clients about the long time frame left on the project. I'm very concerned particularly about asbestos and lung damage. Any updated/ detailed info would be appreciated. [less]

Great building
Wildy ugy. I hope they're fixing that.
it's definitely ugly and creates important noise, dust, quality of life and health considerations for a 3 year, very long, time period in an otherwise great building. i just wish there was more honest communication that we could plan with. i'm pretty certain brokers are not being up front with potential buyers and tenants on this (they may not know)
Good building with fantastic remodeling with classical structure will always amount with hug price for rent especially in big cities. But if it will be a luxury suite that will be great and the price will be different.
