This sounds like a bandaid that will eventually come back to bite us in the ass.

I am not that negative on the revised proposal as top engineering talent of the nation is involved in designing the solution.

As i watch people daily jump a turnstile or walk in thru the exit door to a train, including stops that have police with there bag checks stations be completely ignored by the cops, I think I will start doing the same. I dont see why I need to be one of the Awholes always paying anymore.

Am I right in reading that the plan is to use a new technology which has never been used for a transportation system in this country before, but rather than re-do an RFP, etc process they are planning on keeping the same contractors and just tweaking the contract?
