Our building will need to do an ASHRAE Level 2 audit in 2019 (a LL87 requirement since our building is over 50,000 sq ft) and I was wondering if anyone has a sense as to what this type of audit should cost (our gross building size is approx 70,000 sq ft)? Some research I've done online has given cost ranges of between 5 cents per sq ft to 15 cents per sq ft but the quote we recently received from (I think) a reputable firm was around 22 cents per sq ft. Thanks.

Ethan, While I do not have the answer to you question, but curious why this is needed for a brand new building? Presumably, all this is a part of building plan approvals from DOB.
