Discussion about 1165 Fifth Avenue in Carnegie Hill
I stopped by the buidling and asked the doorman if this was a condo or a co op on a Friday afternoon around 5PM. He was utterly rude and said he couldn';t tell me. I thought the bldg was for some low income housing since the lobby was utterly loud and there were many young people going in & out. I don't think I will consider living here.

They tend to be short with non-residents, don't take offense. It's a tough job.

Renter, Why not just check on Streeteasy whether it is a condo or coop?

It's a co-op that requires 50% down to purchase.
