Discussion about The Clare at 301 East 61st Street in Lenox Hill
The building has everything but a pool. Should have put in a pool.

The cost of maintaining a pool for a 30 unit building is ridiculous. You have to have a lifeguard on duty for any time the pool is open, so my guess is >90% if the time they would be guarding an empty pool.
I know at 50 Lexington the basement pool was closed for years. They re-opened it, but while the exercise room is open 24 hours, the pool is only open
- Monday - Friday, 6-10 PM
- Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM - 3 PM
- Holidays, 9 AM - 1 PM

I was not aware of the lifeguard law. Thank you for sharing that.
