Wow - wood burning fireplace?

I think less than 9% of Manhattan apartments have WBF -- and this marble mantle looks incredible. I will be at the open house but eager to confirm that the WBF is working, which I believe it is per the summary. Gorgeous property, very interested!

That is a beautiful mantle (though the way the vertical egg & dart molding surround angles to meet the outside pilaster at the floor is unusual -- typically would be perfectly parallel. Get a representation that the fireplace is ok, and regular use is approved. Relining a chimney from the 2nd floor up is an expensive proposition. Finishes look to be nice throughout the unit.
