Discussion about
Which part of Park Slope (cross street) is considered prime? I am looking at a condo on the corner of President and 4th Avenue. I'm beginning to see a lot of new development along 4th Avenue with buildings labeled "luxury" rentals/condos. Relatively new to the area so would appreciate any insight.

"Prime" Park Slope is the current historic district, more or less bounded by Sterling Place (North), 6th Avenue (West), 9th Street (South), and Prospect Park West (East). Everything else is marketing babble.

Plus you kind of take your life in your hands crossing it.

The traffic there is bad around that area. If you have a car, it might be a nightmare. The park is nice and it's an upcoming area, as well as the rest of Brooklyn.
