It will be interesting to see what effect the new rent regulations have on the market, because if supply is tight and prices rising/incentives being taken away, and "preferential rent" goes away, there will be a very strong incentive for current renters who are at low rents (which now can not be raised except for the mandated amount per RS guidelines) to stay where they are and not becoming either rental or sale customers.
