Discussion about 416 West 52nd Street #512
Placement of the half bath.
Un-classic 7.
And placement of the full bath behind kitchen far from either bedroom it is presumably intended to serve? With the half bath between the bedrooms?
I am sure they tried to fit the full bath where the half bath is but couldn’t. Hence, very strange location. And where is 1929 sq ft?
Gaudy lobby -
I was hoping it was an error in drawing the floorplan, but #312 shows the same layout.
They could have just narrowed the second bedroom and master a bit to fit a full bath instead of half bath.
I think the current half bath is pointless. Usually you have a "guest bath" off the entry way or at least off guest spaces. Here, having a full bath off the entry precludes the need for a half bath, and the inhabitants of the non-master bedrooms need to go there to use a full bath anyway. So what is the point of this half bath? So you can have your guests walk through the living room rather than using the full bath that they already walked by? I think I might rather have it as a full laundry room as opposed to a small stacking W/D in a closet, especially in a 3 BR apartment which is likey to have kids.
I think this is more three roommates than family.
