Living at 408 West 57th

I don't live in the building but a friend did, and I've also rented out that apartment (I'm a broker). That tenant was happy and stayed multiple years. Post-war layouts with tiny kitchens, very nice staff, good location near Columbus Circle, significant difference in noise levels between the front and the back.

I've lived here for 9 years. I do enjoy living here. The location is very convenient for me. I used to see an average of one roach per year, but haven't seen any in the last 2 years. I've never seen any rodents. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a doorman building offering only basic amenities in a convenient location.

As far as noise levels go, most of the noise in the front of the building comes from passing emergency vehicles. Neighbors are generally quiet.
