They’ll even offer you money 15k to leave in my case because they say the apartment is rent stabilized but was destabilized but cant prove that, so they revert to stating no rent is being paid they lose again in court then they started a holdover to get access to a “legally registered multiple dwelling with DHCR” which is not on the Certificate of Occupancy along with four other apartments they claim to have but also the C of O states 19 and therefore they again changed their strategy of retaliatory eviction proceedings to state the apartment is illegal to try every possible effort to get me to leave in which during the three and a half years if living in the same apartment I can attest to these facts and advise ANYONE to carefully consider the possibilities you may face if you end up interested in this building and expect to be treated with respect and want assurance that your safety is going to be top priority then I would not risk your health and safety here because it’s not what they portray things to be like when you speak with them and I personally almost died of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning as a result of no working CO or Smoke Detectors which to this day still no one has the audacity to install a code detector that works for or is the landlord. They’re careless, deceitful, a cover up for something and quite recently discovered they’re a fraud by continuously using an illegally obtained J-51 tax abatement to evict any rent stabilized tenant rather than changing their Certificate of Occupancy and admit the building has never been used for commercial purposes since 1982 as they list doctors offices in their certificate of occupancy don't be fooled [less]
