To which I would suggest that no, Yekaterina Rybolovleva's apt at 15 CPW is the most indulgent starter apartment. If the current state of indulgent is at 372 5th, we've slipped quite a bit as a society.

Here's a story: back in the 1990s there was another PH in this building which couldn't sell so the owner offered it for $10 plus half of the proceeds from a future sale... And still couldn't sell.

I feel for the guy who must have discovered that he bought a lemon after the first rain and has been trying to sell ever since. Studios with barely an 8-foot ceiling and rooftops accessible by a winding staircase are for young and starving artists. Except that no starving artist could afford this.
