Can someone who is or who has lived there comment on what it's like to live in that complex? Is it safe? I know it's a long way to the nearest subway. Is it worth the hike compared to living near Prospect Park or Park Slope?

If I remember correctly the club Mos Def shot the "Sex, Love & Money" video in was right by there.

I haven't been there much but it's bus to subway. Best bet is to walk around day and evening to check it out.

I used to work in the adjacent neighborhood (closer to the F train stop), and lived in Park Slope. No way would I trade PS or Prospect Park for the navy yard area (now or then).
