Don't worry about all the doom-and-gloom on Wall Street. Doctors are saving the day (apparently). http://www.nysun.com/real-estate/doctors-replace-wall-street-bankers-as-go/84817/
ha! not even NEAR the earning potential as Wall Street...
Did we suddenly get 10,000 new doctors in Manhattan?
nyc10022 - i agree...an extremely limited supply of doctors. not too mention that the ones really making the big $$ don't accept insurance and do cosmetic things (plastic surgery, cosmetic dentistry, dermatology, not to mention reproductive endocrinologists)...all ARE affected by Wall Street's slow down. Who is going to commit $40,000 to new dental veneers if their husband just lost his job as a trader. The RE's business will also slow down a bit. Spending $50,000 to get knocked up isn't as doable these days.
I have 7 doctors in my family. Only 2 of them have the income that can come close to buying them a 1 bedroom condo. If your counting on doctors to pick up the slack from the Wall St. buyers, your in VERY big trouble.
"your in VERY big trouble."
you mean YOU'RE? apparently you didn't get the brains in the family...
sure alpineLACE...your waiting for that 5% drop while risking 10% yearly gains...ya real smart einstein
wall st buyers don't buy in harlem to begin with.
doctors and nurses can eat up harlem all they want.
You mean to tell me, that this isn't a joke, people actually think this is serious?
I think the article was serious.
