Dow Down 25%, S&P 26% from Peak

I stepped back to do the calculations today, and I was blown away. Based on the bottoms today, we have... Dow Down 24.7%, S&P 25.8% from Peak To put this in perspective... 2001 was a 31.5% peak to trough on the dow... BUT happen to come after a humongous runup. 1987 saw a 22.6% one day crash... interestingly enough, the market was UP for all of 2007...

Ok, and now give some examples where this ties to NYC real estate market?
