I'm with you on stock market capitulation, but I already said that a few weeks back. Clearly the gov will pass *something* - no one wants to be the guy who voted against the plan that would have saved us - or at least that will be said to have saved us - if things tank. You want to be on the side of having done *something* as we descend into inevitable downturn.

But I'm sure the scumbags will try to get their goodies off the bill before it basses..

RE is another matter. We still have high level folks at brokerage firms claiming that Manhattan RE is as "safe" as it gets. We've got months (if not years) to go there...
