Discussion about
AM magazine reported that NYC can lose up to 250K jobs. And with the stock market crashing today, things look pretty bad, especially for NYC. Money, jobs, and people are leaving the city, and by 2012, it will be the east coast version of detroit. And not even Bloomberg can do anything about that.

If all the money and jobs left the city, it would look like, well, Chicago (plus decent restaurants and culture).

People falsely predicted the end of NYC back in the 1930's also....and again in the 70's.

Rufus doesn't have history on his side. I am not saying it's impossible, but not likely.

Again, rufus, at least we aren't already in recession like Chicago/Illinois. Didn't you read what I sent you yesterday?

I hate to say it, but I agree with rufus. Chicago does top New York

In fact, Chicago tops all other cities in the USA as the murder capital of the country this year!
