It's the only Church-approved form of suicide for conscientious ibankers . . . moving to the murder capital of the nation and waiting for the bullet. That's what gives.

I had no idea Hammond was the derivatives capital of the world. I should probably move there.

And how much worse can Chicago's crime rate climb as the economic forecast looks bleak? Scary.

Chicago may soon be the most dangerous city in the world. What a cesspool.

AMG, Chicago's crimes are limited to the ghettos in far south and west side. the gentrified neighborhoods like gold coast, river north, streeterville, lincoln park, and lakeview, are safer than Manhattan.

Please get your facts straight.

AMG..here is a database on the endless crime in Chicago. Even in "gentrified" neighborhoods.

http://chicago.everyblock.com/crime/locations/neighborhoods/gold-coast/ - Gold Coast
http://chicago.everyblock.com/crime/locations/neighborhoods/river-north/ - River North
http://chicago.everyblock.com/crime/locations/neighborhoods/streeterville/ - Streeterville

it keeps going and going if you have the time and evergy

FROM STNG WIRE REPORTS

Two women were stabbed during a domestic dispute Monday night at a North Lake Shore Drive high-rise building in the Streeterville neighborhood.

The stabbing happened on the 600 block of North Lake Shore Drive about 9:30 p.m., Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor said.

Two women, who are related, were stabbed when they became involved in a domestic altercation, according to police News Affairs Officer David Banks.

Both women were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with stab wounds, but one was more seriously injured than the other. One woman was undergoing surgery Tuesday morning and the other was being treated for minor cuts, Banks said.

One of the women is being questioned and detained by police at the hospital, Banks said.

The 29-story building is home to more than 400 condominium units and also houses the corporate headquarters of Playboy Enterprises.

Belmont Area detectives are investigating.

Isn't Gold Coast the "premier" (as premier as Chicago can get) neighborhood the city?

Chelsea isn't Manhattan's best neighborhood so the crime comparison is a shame. I went around Chicago in 2005 and it seemed dangerous and gritty.

I've just come across this article "Chicago most dangerous city in the country". I'm sorry, but for a city that you are trying hard to push as world class and sophisticated (LOL), this doesn't add up. Chicago's population is much less than LA and New York City and has much more crime so "most dangerous city" and "sophisticated" really don't add up. Chicago is a cesspool.
