The housing market may have gone bust, but many homeowners are still living in a bubble. Despite dismal housing headlines and reports showing falling prices nationwide, owners in some once-hot areas still believe their home is gaining value or at least holding its own. And by hanging onto too-high expectations, sellers are unwittingly keeping the market from finding a bottom. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27648884/ Doesn't sound familiar? Look at listings, and inventory.

The funny thing is, when they ask folks if their NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE declined, they say yes. The neighborhood, city, the country, they're all tanking, but MY PLACE is fine.
Same thing we see here. Any of these sounds familar?
"Well outer boroughs will have trouble, but..." "Yes, fringe areas will, but", and the everpresent "Manhattan prime will always..."
