New home sales fall to slowest pace in 18 years; prices drop to 2004 levels

Almost back to 2003 - my long-held prediction! Will we overshoot and get to 2001? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27926166/ 3 year inventory in Manhattan right now, & more coming online. Prices down 20% since their peak a year ago. The world will turn rightside up once we reach that point.

I am not sure what new home sales in Arkansas have to do with RE in NYC? I am not arguing that prices are declining, but this doesn't have much relevance to RE in NYC since it is national and new home sales.
