Based on the history below, does this infer the listing closed or did not close? 07/20/2006 Previously listed in StreetEasy by Elliman for $1,270,000 05/22/2007 Elliman listing unavailable at $1,100,000 05/31/2007 Listed in StreetEasy by Elliman at $1,100,000 11/05/2007 Price decreased to $999,000 05/07/2008 Price decreased to $950,000 09/05/2008 Elliman listing entered contract 11/27/2008 Elliman listing no longer available http://www.streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/90343-coop-245-west-104th-street-manhattan-valley-new-york?email=true
"No longer available" is designation supplied by Elliman--not Streeteasy. It would generally suggest apt. closed, but this cannot be confirmed until the filings appear in ACRIS--usually weeks after the sale closes. If the contract fell through and the seller withdrew the apt. from the market, the same designation could just as easily be inserted. Here, because of the 2-month span between contract and "no longer avail" it would strongly suggest a closing occured.
#14E did sell - there's a UCC1 on file:

As kylewest noted, Streeteasy won't show the sale transaction until the tax statement comes through.
By the way, the Armstead is a very nice building. The "E" line isn't one of its better layouts, though.
Does thIS close not list what the property closed for?
The tax statement will show the price. The UCC doesn't.
