Or that there really are only 9 units left today? Or do you believe "Occupancy slated for late 2008"? Or "buy now before they are all gone" or "buy now before the price increase". The shadow invetory of developer units being held of the market must be staggering.

interesting jake. Nice catch. I see 72 signed contracts in the system we use for Lucida. I think there are 110 units for sale, so yes, it would seem (unless my system doesnt have all the data) that there should be 38 units left for sale.

I'm also noticing 12 listings (out of 60 apartments, I believe) at its major competitor down the block, the Brompton.

I was at the Brompton sales office well over 6 months ago. Never received a follow-up call or email after the visit. A friend had the exact same experience. Really terrible sales strategy. But behold: I received a nice email from the Brompton last week informing me of a very special 3 bed K line apt. that is available. If the Related sales team finally decided to have their admin assistant pull the prospective buyer email addresses together and send out a solicitation, things must be getting rough.

Amazingly, they're still saying that there are only 10 units available
