If streeteasy's search engine hadn't been so customizable, I wouldn't have set up an apartment search on this site. Which means I wouldn't have started reading the forums. Which means I wouldn't have realized that the rent v. buy equation didn't actually make sense for me, given my input params like expected stay. Which means i probably would have bought a place. So, happy holidays and thanks.
