W67: This bullet you dodged... was it #10H?
Hmm, H apts come in more than 1 flavor - 3 bedroom H line starts on 14th floor. Were you bidding on 3 beds or 2 beds?
My bad - thought this was an A-line.
hmmm -- I would not pay anything over $1.2 million for this place -- you are lucky you got rejected
Watch it go way down
Love it!
I have a similar story of 'woe' (deal fell through on a 2-bed, 2-bath UWS prewar last summer) and I have just one message to the seller (and to the sucka who wound up buying it): "Nanny, nanny, nert, nert!"
West81/nyc10023... a couple of floors higher (I don't think there is a 3 bdrm in that line... all flex three, but I could be wrong)... I've got a bounce in my steps :)
nyc10023 just saw your second post... BTW check this tidbit out... a friend of ourz parents bought an A line (pretty high up) for $800K in 04'? or 03'?
joedavis/Squidy.... theres' a part of me that wants to get back in the bldg.. bc it caused so much friction w/ the lady when I refused to bid higher (just want to show her to never question my rib roast and my financial acumen, she can question everything else :)) and I love the doorman/workers there... really great vibe esp. w/ kids.... I don't like losing, but glad I lost that bid :)
Hmmph. I find the beeping of the elevator on each flr supremely annoying. A line is usually a 3-bed (convertible 4) and were never selling at 800k (at least the 3beds) in the last 11 years.
I like the views from the E line myself..
