Discussion about
http://brachablog.com/?p=71 Watch out Noah and Doug, this Bracha boy is going to give your blogs a run for their money when it comes to hard hitting analysis of the RE market. BTW, thanks Noah for the link to his blog. I never would have found it otherwise.

I've met Mr. Bracha. He impressed me as very impressed with himself.

west81st - haha...very funny!

Apparently having a brain is no requirement for having a blog. Wait a minute....in that case, Rufus should start his own blog. Or maybe Rufus and Bracha can start a littel "he said / she said" blog. It would at least be more entertaining than what either of them posts individually.

WOW, brilliant advice from Mr. Bracha:
"Buy NOW, Thank me later! .... I firmly believe that NOW is the time to buy. "
I am soooooo getting out MY checkbook! Woohoooo!

Here's a good example of Mr. Bracha's subtle style:
"$ 340,000 OF COMMISSION FOR BUYER'S BROKER!!!!"
http://www.prudentialelliman.com/Listings.aspx?ListingID=1006412

That's the description on Elliman's public site, not some private, brokers-only message board.

To make matters worse, it's inaccurate. Bracha just reduced the price from $6.8MM to $5,999,500, but he forgot to recalculate the 3% buy-side commission. Somehow, I don't think he's offering an uneven split to make up the difference.

I would start a new thread but no one would comment. Just want to say thank you to everyone for good information. W81st, you are as good a friend as anyone could ask for.

Oops... 5%.

LookingAround: Glad to hear you find my scribblings useful. Just don't trust my math.

Don't worry - any responsible person will know to do the math!
