Online Petition Against "Chicago" Threads

Agreed. Stop feeding the troll.

PLEASE STOP. Honestly, this is the one thing about StreetEasy that I can't stand. Legitimate real estate discussions get compromised by a few who have nothing better than to do than have random discussions about Chicago or politics.

I believe in free speech, but I also believe in my right to not have to deal with his crap every day because his Mommy didn't hug him enough and because he was too stupid to get into Columbia and can't get over it....I'm in.

Please allow me to set up a filter (or even better, regexp) to automatically hide posts with certain keywords.

Yes, no more Chicago posts. Only St. Louis from now on.

Actually, this isn't quite correct. Look at the last 10 rufus posts. When you post the "expose" article I wrote (and many have copied), he stops responding.

So, yes, don't feed it... but the expose stops him posting on 'em...

No, he just starts another thread or another alias. It makes it even worse.

An "ignore thread" button fixes all of this. Please, please, please!

and those ALSO stop as soon as expose is posted....

Not posting has never stopped rufus from posting.

The bigger problem is that streeteasy won't deal with them. They remove a lot of posts, but they seem to have no problem with rufus. They seem to, in fact, like him posting here.

To me, this petition should be for streeteasy removing rufus and any of the other aliases.
