Testimonials from SE iPhone app users

Testimonial: the app doesn't work unless all bars show in the signal indicator; AT&T's network is too poor for all bars to be shown most of the time (even in Manhattan).

Ergo: a less-than-useful app.

You need to make improvements first.

It kept crashing on me whenever I tried to go onto something like the third page of results.
Also, whenever I go back into it I like to be be where I was last - including search results.

You used to have similar user experience problems with this board. I would forget to log in, try to access an insider only link, log in and I would be kicked back to the home page. Thank goodness you fixed that one.

Other fundamental issues:

You should make edit search enabled before it starts searching based on default settings. Retrieving sales can take a long time and when you don't want the default search that is a pain becasue you can't stop it.

I had location search turned off but I still got a message (at the end of a long search) that the app could not find my location.

Search settings do not save you last customized choices when you exit.

Please improve your iphone app.

Iphone taking forever to restart and I have a school show to go.
Darn it I hope no one has swiped all the sprinkles before I get a chance to remove them.

I don't see the Open House page on the IPHONE app. I would think this would be the most useful mobile info members would want.

I would like the ability to see all other SE iphone users on a map... and rate open houses on the fly... so i won't waste time visiting worthless pieces of (fill in blank)....

NYCDreamer, from Sales, press Edit Search. Open Houses are an option under Details.
