Terror Insurance for Condo?

Just got a Homeowners Insurance quote, as I am in the process of buying a Condo in Manhattan... The quote flat out says..."DOES NOT COVER ACTS OF WAR"... For a condo in Manhattan, that seem like a glaring omission and makes me nervous. Am I nuts? Is terror insurance even offered?

I doubt it, dear; that's why they invented valium. Insurers prey on our fears, take a lot of our money and then when there is a claim they are s-l-o-o-o-w to pay. There has been a lot of destruction along the gulf coast so the insurers are trying to duck claims there & along Cape Cod they are declining to renew houses which they think are in harms way due to global warming & the oceans rising. You obviously need real estate insurance but it is a pact with the devil, alas.
