Discussion about
I have 2 24" base cabinet with drawers that pull out. What size of a bar pull should I use as handles? 10.5" or 18"? How about my 42" cabinets?
Is this a physics question or an aesthetics query? Can you buy both & see which most pleases your eye & then return the other?
If you are replacing old handles, then go with whatever pull will fit in the original drill holes.
check ebay....
There isn't a standard answer for this. A 6" or 8" pull can work fine. If you want to hang a dish towel around the handle a 13" pull could be fine. I think 18" pull is bit large for a 24" drawer unless it is meant to match a custom panel with an 18" panel on a dishwasher or something. Many pulls are custom order at places like Simon's--especially larger ones. But maybe you can go to Home Depot and find some in the sizes you want and just see which size appeals to you. Then return them and order the style you want in the size you settled on.
You also might look at some magazines to see what those kitchens show that appeals to you.
