Built in 2005, The Laurel is a 30-story tall condominium made up of 129 residences developed by Izak Senbahar and Simon Elias of Alexico Group. Designed to be environmentally sustainable and energy efficient, The Laurel is a “green” LEED-certified building and has a 421-a tax abatement scheduled to expire in 2020.
In a prime location on the Upper East Side, the building is surrounded by fashion boutiques, fine dining, The New York Public Library, St. Catherine’s Park and the world famous auction house, Sotheby’s. It is also just a short distance from the cross town bus service and the 68th street 6 train subway station.
