615 West End Avenue is one of the remaining grand Beaux Arts Renaissance Revival townhouses nestled on West End Avenue. Built circa 1900 with an extra wide stoop, this twenty foot wide, five story townhouse features distinctive terra cotta architectural ornaments on its façade. A double-wide mahogany carved door stands behind an exterior leaded-glass paneled mahogany front door. The townhouse consists of two units, a garden duplex occupying the ground and parlor floors and an upper triplex that spans the third, fourth and fifth floors. Rich in turn of the century details, this house has been fully updated and beautifully bridges old world charm with contemporary finishes.
