The gas cooktop and its hood are Gaggenau, as is the built-in convection oven: the refrigerator is made by Sub-Zero, and co-ordinates with the cabinetry, as does the Miele dishwasher.
The living and dining rooms flow together in an L shape, against the glass curtain wall, framing the Statue of Liberty and the Hudson. Electric Lutron blinds filter the abundant sunlight, and a contemporary sculptural chandelier illuminates the night. Light colored, strip maple floors throughout the home, and bright white walls, lend a clean, crisp, modern feel to the space.
No detail has been overlooked in this stylish home: all closets received "California-style" treatments, and have been fitted with Lualdi Outline doors with a glossy white finish, and recessed halogen lighting has been installed in all the hallways.
Each of the three bathrooms has a distinct and charming personality. One features an Antonio Lupi vanity, mirror, and colorful tiling: the second, an adorable "petal" sink.
