SE, you know your message boards are the main driver for your website viewership. You have to do something about the abusive posters on this board. I GUARANTEE you that many intelligent, articulate people would post if they had no fear of being attacked and ridiculed. I could care less what these abusers say but many people would be hurt. Now, you know I am wonderful drawer of eyeballs to your website as are others here. You are losing a tremendous amount of hits b/c of abusive people like somewhereelse. Somewherelse, nyc10022, eddie wilson etc. attack and abuse any positive bull remark. He/she and other abusive people need to be stopped. I know you are reading this SE people. If you do nothing to curb this behavior then you lose SteveF. The most clicked on poster on these boards. No doubt!

Maybe I will take my thoughts to Noah's Urbandigs. His blog is much nicer and has some quality posts and material. Maybe another blog, some savvy entreprenure should start up their own blog emphasizing censorship. I'm sure those bloggers are out there. Now, I know you aren't going to come up with a plan right away but please consider the harm you are inflicting on yourselves. Why do you think yahoo had too shut down their message boards? Same abuse.

Though one thing I used to say about you was... at least you had balls. You stuck to your guns and came back every day with the nonsense posts. You repeated yourself over and over again, no matter how insane your claims were proven to be (particularly your call for a mad rush from buyers and price increases in march 2008, right before it all TANKED).
But, without the preseverence.... you're just a perfitz.
