Discussion about
Hi - Any advise on this building? It is right next to a the High School for Humanities? Is that a negative that it is right next to a school? I would love any insight that someone might have.

The kids from this school don't seem to pose too much of a problem. They do use an exit on the 19th. St. side sometimes. And, occasionally I will see some of them perched on a stoop. However, now that Gotham Pizza has opened up on the corner, I think they migrate toward the Ave. a bit more.

Looked at a property on W. 19th and asked around. The kids often loiter on stoops during the day, and apparently there have been issues with buildings getting fined because the kids put recyclables, etc. in their trash. There tends to be a bit of noise when school gets out, but if you work normal hours, you're unlikely to hear it.

That's the word on the street, anyway. (We asked people who live on the block rather than brokers.)

I'd think it would be a positive not to have neighbors for most of the hours you are home.
