Discussion about
I have to vacate my rental on 10/31. Bought a co-op and probably will not close until 11/15. Need a short term rental for 2 weeks to 30 days. We cannot extend our lease for 1 month as a new tenant is moving in. We cannot do a possession agt with the seller. Any suggestions?
hotel rooms I guess
I may be able to get you a short term rental, but depends on how much you want to spend.
Realtor here.
Thanks Streetsmart, Ideally, I would like to spend 3,500 for the month of November. We are not going to move any furniture in and will store everything except for clothes and toiletries until we move to the new apt. We have a cat.
We used Furnished quarters for our short term stay. We have a dog, so they seem to be flexible with pets. You may have to sign up for a one month minimum. Though after the month, you may be able to go onto a weekly basis. Our stay ended up being a little longer, though our intention was to be there for a month or two at most, we were there for almost three Vrbo.comm may be another good option, though you may have more difficulty with an ambiguous end date, or you may have to string together a couple of different apartments to cover your needs.
Thanks Joelmimi. Is Furnished Quarters firm on their prices or can you negotiate with them?
Doesn't hurt to ask. We were there as part of a corporate relocation, so price was not something we negotiated.
Thanks again Joelmimi.
There's also Churchill.

I may need one of these in the spring..
What sort of pricing can you expect for a fully furnished studio with a min of 30 days.. probably 60?
