I met with the owner a few days ago. Really nice and honest guy. I am in a unique situation where I am basically acting as my own GC. He was honest with me and said that the way I was going probably made the most sense. He also said he would put me in contact with some subs for some particular jobs I need done. I can't speak for any work he's done (the renovations on his website look really nice though), but if you are looking for a high end contractor I would definitely suggest meeting with him.

If so, that is "Primer".
You can find his advice on various reno threads here on the se discussion boards.
He and his staff are the best (imo and ime:in my experience).

They are Prime Home Renovations, based out of Ridgewood Queens. I don't believe they have a website. But they are listed in Angie's List with an A. But just want to see what some of you have to say.

Thanks!

Sorry to be late to the party. We are actually using them as we speak and, generally, so far so good. We're in our 4th week of renovations with another 2-3 weeks expected. More or less a gut renovation of our junior 4. I'll report back or we can communicate offline.
