Discussion about
It now appears two of my posts that are factual, or what I would call "constructive feedback" from an individual subscriber basis, has been deleted by StreetEasy. Has anyone else had this problem? If so I would voice concern. I am in the process of hiring an attorney to get my two month's security deposit from a terrible landlord - which possibly could have been avoided if there was a prior post... [more]

Relax - no need to worry: Either SE recognized the landlord, a lucrative revenue generating SE advertiser - or they're the landlord themselves!

There - now wasn't that [Street] easy?!?

Easy newbie. First couple of posts are vetted. Just post more. Any random thought will do.

Depends if you're the lucrative revenue generating SE advertiser, or one of their subscribers (like myself) who are relying on "non-biased" and "much-needed transparency to the NYC real estate marketplace" like the CEO even states they do.

It would be interesting to see how many people have rented from a landlord who has had multiple run-ins about keeping tenants security deposits, or not fixed issues like they said they would - which StreetEasy could have helped the tenant prevent that situation if they didn't block a post that might have been written on that particular landlord. Or I wonder if there have been sales of apartments which were lemons that had a post on it which StreetEasy deleted the negative feedback ones. Anyone want to think about the average price of a 1- and 2-bedroom apartment in NYC, and think StreetEasy might have saved some individuals huge dollars and heartache by allowing posts that were factual or were constructive feedback on here? I for one, as a StreetEasy's subscriber, am not happy they selectively delete or not approve posts "IF" they abide by Zillow's "Good Neighbor Policy" and "Code of Conduct," policies....which I believe mine did.

Separate issue - I've been a paying customer ($10/month) for years and have participated on many of these boards and threads. But I cannot begin my own completely new discussion. I've tried a few times, and it simply won't post on to the street easy boards...
