i am partisan only because someone needs to call these moronic posts actually what they are. I didnt post a political word on these boards before these Republican posters started spreading lies about Obama. I am fighting lies with truths.

LIC and Fox News is fair and balanced right? Oh yeah and Palin is qualified to be President? Or Palin is the Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard over seas?

McCain is going to reform what he voted for over 90% of the time during the last 8 years???

An easy thing to do when you can make up whatever "truth" you want...

like the Truth that McCain will reform what he supported for the past 8 years? or the Truth that Palin is a reformer hired a lobbyist and was the most success at getting pork for her town - 20 times more success than most other mayors?

or the truth that partisan commentary on MSNBC coverage does not belong on a real estate board?

petr, how often are you going to say the same stupid thing over and over. I can name several important matters where McCain went against Bush. Name me anything where Obama went against his party line. He has voted 98% of the time with Harry Reid. Now that is scary. The democrats may lose again this year because their candidate is an extreme left-winger.

LIC i have posted this before but will again - Senate Ethics reform:

"Mr. Obama played a central role in this effort. Forcing fellow members of Congress to disclose the names of lobbyists who bundle campaign donations is not the sort of thing that endears you to your colleagues."

Now LIC please supply us with 1 example that backs up the statement that"Sarah Palin is the Commander and Chief of the Alaska National Guard overseas"

it is a blatant lie. so please 1 example.

petrfitz, honestly don't know how you have the stamina to keep trolling this board - the more sensible among us can certainly recognize that neither candidate is perfect, but it's the verbal assaulting and just plain bad information that have cost you your credibility here.

You link articles to MSNYT on the regular and ape Obamamann's talking points like a fourth grader.

Manface Mitchell said only uneducated people would vote for Palin. There's a strong likelihood that years of boffing Greenspan and being passed over for cushy anchordesk jobs have embittered her.

ObamaMann's made a bundle spewing his crap. And guys like petroputz eat it up. The guy used to give me Red Sox scores in grad school and now he's an elite media member raking in more than Tom Brokaw. What a putz!

They just gave that Man Woman ObamaMann wannabe its own show too. Expect more useless talking points, San Francisco style.

And so did Larry Brown when he came to coach the Knicks....what's your point?

He can sit there with a contract in hand, but when the pain from GE comes down on him like a ton of bricks, its going to be great to watch...

And now they doubled down with that wacko from the bankrupt Air America....I'm betting they are getting a few calls from corporate these days....

putz, gallup has "McBush" up 10 points. Truly, unless Trig's real dad is Satan, your team's getting pushed way back into its own territory here and the 3rd quarter just ended.

When this is all said and done, they'll be burying Axelrod and/or sending him back to the NYT or whatever rag from which he came. From a sheer strategy slant, attacking Palin's experience is a loser when you're #1 has none of it. Wait, he was the top geek at Harvard Law Review and knocked on doors for school lunches. Admirable skills both, but not Presidential training and Americans can see that.

Obama should have waited his turn, like Hill did.

And that's pretty much the ballgame....

Before Palin joined the ticket, Obama enjoyed a lead over McCain among women, 55 percent to 37 percent, according to a recent ABC News/Washington Post poll.

However a new ABC News/Washington Post poll out today finds white women have moved from 50-42 percent in Obama's favor before the conventions to 53-41 percent for McCain now, a 20-point shift in the margin that's one of the single biggest post-convention changes in voter preferences.

Can't wait to see O and Hill go at it again in 2012

I don't think there's anything wrong with MSNBC. Pat Buchanan -- right wing commmentator and presidential candidate. Joe Scarborough -- Ex conservative GOP congressman. Tucker Carlson -- longtime GOP talking head. Chris Matthews -- long time critic of the Clintons; longtime Democratic "turncoat" until he couldn't take any more with the Iraq war.

Brian Williams - Rush Limbaugh's favorite anchorman.

Yeah, Olberman is Obamaman but he's gone after Obama when he's disagreed with him (spy act, drilling, etc.) And he relentlessly attacked Hillary Clinton.

The Late Tim Russert plus Tom Brokaw and David Gregory may have been more "balanced," but Matthews and Olberman were quite entertaining.

And, Julia, we need a counterpoint to Hannity and O'Reilly! We finally have some and you want to jettison them!

This is why so many people think Democrats are losers.

Wow...and if the Women coming over to the "dark side" wasn't painful enough I guess this is....

McCain Now Winning Majority of Independents

Majority of independents now prefer him over Obama, 52% to 37%

PRINCETON, NJ -- John McCain's 6 percentage-point bounce in voter support spanning the Republican National Convention is largely explained by political independents shifting to him in fairly big numbers, from 40% pre-convention to 52% post-convention in Gallup Poll Daily tracking.

By contrast, Democrats' support for McCain rose 5 percentage points over the GOP convention period, from 9% to 14%, while Republicans' already-high support stayed about the same.

The surge in political independents who favor McCain for president marks the first time since Gallup began tracking voters' general-election preferences in March that a majority of independents have sided with either of the two major-party candidates. Prior to now, McCain had received no better than 48% of the independent vote and Obama no better than 46%, making the race for the political middle highly competitive.

garelj - You think voting for McCain is the "dark side." That's pretty sad.

will - you can't be serious. MSNBC is clearly partisan to the democrats and Obama. Fox is certainly supportive of the Republican side, and MSNBC is partisan to the left, why deny it?

MSNBC's problem is during the GOP Convention they loaded their panels with Dems: Norah O'Donnell, Olbermann, that Mannish ObamaMann wannabe and Chris Matthews and threw in Buchanan as an after thought. Buchanan's a bitter GOPer and if you saw him on the ManWoman show last night, his contempt for what he's had to stoop to (i.e. take MSNYT's money) is obvious.

Fox' panel generally puts up 2 Dems and 2 GOPers: Kristol and Hume to Liasson and Williams. Now you can argue as to who's more partisan and who isn't but MSNYT is just as partisan if not moreso than Fox. The thing is though, 3X more folks watch Fox nationally.

Seems that the various "news" channels are increasingly about attracting various "segments" of the markets in order to sell toothpaste advertisements. Classic market segmentation.

Conservatives get their toothpaste ads on Fox.

Liberals get their toothpaste ads on MSNBC.

I find myself increasingly gravitating to either The Daily Show or The Colbert Report. At least they don't pretend to give it to me straight.

CNBC and WSJ. They give it to you straight. Just today there's an anti-Palin article in WSJ--says she fired an appointee for boffing her married friend. You would NEVER see a pro-Palin article in NYT. NEVER.

Come on, totallyanonymous! You're smokin' dope if you think CNBC and WSJ don't have an ax to grind.

Their audience is business people and their editorial content reflects their readership's perspectives. (They too are in the business of selling toothpaste ads.) Sure there is some counterpoint. Even MSNBC has Buchanan. Even Fox has Colmes.

How anyone can think CNBC is in any way partisan is beyond me. Kudlow perhaps but he's not a zealot. WSJ sure, their op ed page, but they do have anti mccain policy pieces regularly. do you read it?

I used to read NYT but they are consistently anti conservative which nauseates me. If you like that sort of thing, then its your cup of tea. I like a dose of actual verifiable news with my commentary. For me, NYT is NY Post for guys with a college diploma. FT hurts my eyes.

Seriously, watch MSNBC and Fox intermittently, like flip between the channels. Hidden in there you might pick up some nuggets of actual news.
