This is like a college dorm. People throwing up in the elevator. People throwing up in the stairwell. Parties every night. Nothing gets fixed. The air conditioning was improperly installed so the condensation that forms on the ducts drips down the walls. If you lived there before they redid the lobby, you would see the paint rippling from the water running down the walls (The lobby is 12 stories below the roof...it isn't rain leaking from the roof and running that far down. Even if it is, that is some serious leaking.) My girlfriend and I were constantly sick and getting sinus infections from the mold that is growing in the walls. The air conditioning "does not work" for a little bit too long as they are trying to keep the condensation to a minimum. I think there are a few apartments here that are model ghettos with 10 beautiful people living in a studio (maybe that is good or bad depending on what you are looking for). At some point, a dude on some sort of drugs tried to walk into my apartment as I was walking out with my girlfriend and another friend, and I said, "This is my apartment." and put my hand up physically stop him as he tried to slip by me and into my apartment. He turned around and took a step away from my apartment, but then turned around and tried to come back in again as I was closing the door! Once again I had to physically stop him, and I asked if he was lost. To which he responded, "We are all just children""...This happened at 11am on Saturday. Beyond that, the landlord is a nightmare. I never received a copy of the rental agreement until the last month of my term. Obviously, I have moved out now and the landlord is keeping the security deposit. Good luck getting any money back from those guys. At the very least take pictures of the apartment before you move in, as you are going to have to deal with them in court when you leave... [less]

Yes, very interested to know this information indeed.
Your rambling sad story (& ommission of address) makes ME want to "throw up"...
215 east 95 street?
Guashinton Heights ?
This is going to turn in to a fun guessing game!
The OP may NEVER return...
This sounds like Windsor Court. I had the same experience with someone on my floor who was on drugs trying to get into my apartment. He thought my dog was his. I had to push him back and lock the door. He started pounding on it. I called the front desk to complain. They said, "Oh it's just so and so... He has mental problems and does that all the time." Scary stuff man.
Is it in Williamsburg?
How could it NOT be Williamsburg?

Heythere is a new poster so he'll have to go through a multi-step process before the revealing post is approved and even then another poster will have to bump the thread to get it noticed.
