Actress Parker Posey’s former East Village pad will have a new celebrity occupant. The report from Mansion Global is that “Big Little Lies” actor Alexander Skarsgård is the buyer for the co-op at 119 E. 10th St.
The Swedish actor paid $300,000 over the $2 million list price, according to the report.
The 1-bedroom apartment is old-school NYC: Exposed brick and a beamed ceiling, plus a wood-burning fireplace. There’s also a rooftop area that can be transformed into a terrace. Word is the co-op cannot be used as a pied-a-terre, which means Skarsgård may be spotted eating at some of the classic East Village outposts or clubbing at Webster Hall (whenever it reopens).
Posey sold the apartment in 2008 for $1.3 million.
