Why You’ll Love It…
Step into this unit through a large entryway complete with two generously sized closets. This space could also easily host a desk or additional storage! Upon entering the living room, you’ll find there’s more than enough room for both living and dining furniture, and the space feels even bigger thanks to its high beamed ceilings. Gorgeous hardwood floors and a large window in this space also bring a light and airy feel.
Right off the living area is a square hallway with doors to two more closets, the bathroom, and the bedroom. The layout of the unit ensures everything has a space and each room has a purpose. The bedroom is positioned in a corner of the building, giving it both east- and north-facing windows for plenty of sunlight. You’ll also find a window in the bathroom, which features a shower/tub combo with a sliding glass door.
The galley-style kitchen, located off the foyer, offers plenty of cabinet space and also has its own window. A full-size fridge and oven as well as a deep sink make cooking and cleanup a breeze.
Found in a pet-friendly elevator building with a laundry room and on-site management, this co-op has plenty of amenities to go around. There’s also a parking garage (though it currently has a waitlist), additional storage, bike storage, and a function room available to rent for a fee. The building is right near the 7, M, and R trains in addition to the LIRR, the Q32 and Q60 buses, and the shuttle to LaGuardia. Lots of great restaurants and bars are nearby on Stillman and Roosevelt Avenues, as well as Windmuller Park.
…And Why You Might Not
This unit is located on the first floor of the building, which isn’t everyone’s first choice. The bedroom itself doesn’t have any closets in it, but there are two closets directly outside of it in the hallway. There’s no dishwasher or in-unit laundry, but the unit has easy access to the lobby-level laundry room. So be sure to shortlist this one if you’re looking to buy in Queens!
