Not only is this an apartment with a view, it’s a lair with a past.
According to the New York Post, this 3-bedroom apartment at 800 Fifth Ave. is former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer’s onetime bachelor pad. It’s reportedly the place where Spitzer hung his hat after his wife, Silda Wall, split with him upon learning that he was consorting with high-priced prostitutes. The apartment is now listed on StreetEasy for $20,500 per month.
The apartment in the white-glove building offers Central Park views from its high perch between 61st and 62nd streets in Lenox Hill. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there’s a separate dining room, gourmet kitchen, marble baths and in-unit washer and dryer.
