How does an affordable apartment in a brand-new building in bustling Hell’s Kitchen sound? If the answer is “Good,” then get ready to see if you qualify for this new housing lottery.

The 13-story luxury development will be at 572 11th Ave., courtesy of the Moinian Group. The developer says the building will contain 165 apartments, plus retail space on the ground and cellar levels. The building sits just north of the Hudson Yards development district, so this is prime rental space in a part of the city that is being completely redeveloped.

A total of 46 apartments will be made available through a NYC Housing Connect lottery. There are 37 apartments available to renters at 40 and 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), which means households that earn between $22,903 and $57,240. Another nine units are slated for those earning at 130 percent of AMI, or from $74,400 to $124,020 annually.

This is another stellar opportunity for tenants across a wide range of incomes. Rents for these units are listed in the chart below.
