A new rental development in Hunters Point is nearing completion — and with its arrival, 59 of its 194 units will be available via affordable housing lottery.
Designed by Aufgang Architects, the 19-story building at 11-39 49th Ave. has lottery units available to those who earn 130 percent of the area median income. That means a gross between $71,932 and $157,300, which is considered to be a “moderate” level. Rents will range from $2,098 for a studio up to $3,131 for a 3-bedroom. See details below:
The building is located in a heavily developed area of Long Island City and offers quick access to Manhattan. It’s less than 500 feet to the 7 train; the G is a tenth of a mile away; and the LIRR stop at Hunters Point Avenue is walking distance as well.
Amenities include a package room, bike storage, card-operated laundry rooms, gym, rooftop, and lounge, some of which may require a fee.
